Patio Cleaning in Phoenix & Scottsdale, AZ

Patios collect everything, grill grease, spilled drinks, dust blown under the cover, and organic buildup in the shaded corners that never fully dry out. We clean the deck surface, the covered areas, and the surrounding hardscape, matching pressure to whatever you have underfoot so travertine, flagstone, and pavers come out clean without getting etched or pitted.

Six months of dust is usually why nobody sits out there anymore

In the Valley your patio is supposed to be the best room in the house for eight months of the year. What actually happens is that dust blows in under the cover, cobwebs fill the rafters and post corners, the area by the grill picks up a film of grease, and at some point you stop taking guests out there without thinking about why.

It is rarely one big problem. It is a stack of small ones across different materials, which is what makes patios more involved than they look. Travertine, flagstone, and pavers all need less pressure than the concrete slab next to them. The overhead structure needs cleaning as much as the floor. Shaded corners that stay damp grow a thin organic film that gets genuinely slick, which makes it a safety issue rather than a cosmetic one.

We clean the whole envelope, floor, posts, beams, rafters, steps, and the hardscape around it, so the space matches when we are done rather than showing a clean floor under a dirty ceiling.

What sets our patio cleaning apart

Patios, Pergolas & Covered Areas

Covered patios trap dust and cobwebs in the rafters and along the posts, not just on the floor. We clean overhead structure and vertical surfaces along with the deck so the whole space matches.

Grill Grease & Entertaining Stains

The area around a built-in grill or outdoor kitchen takes grease spatter and food traffic that ordinary washing skips right over. Those spots get degreased and treated individually before the main pass.

Shaded-Corner Organic Buildup

Even in the desert, the corners that stay shaded and damp grow a thin organic film that turns slick. We clear it out, which is as much a safety fix as a cosmetic one.

Safe for Travertine, Flagstone & Pavers

Natural stone and pavers do not take the same pressure as poured concrete. We adjust the nozzle and approach per surface so you get a clean patio, not an etched one.

Patio Cleaning Questions

How much does patio cleaning cost?

Most patios run $150 to $350 depending on square footage, surface material, and whether there is covered structure and an outdoor kitchen to clean. Combining it with a driveway or pool deck in the same visit is cheaper than booking separately.

Is pressure washing safe on travertine and flagstone?

Only at the right pressure, which is well below what concrete takes. Too much pressure pits travertine and can flake flagstone. We identify the material first and adjust, and on pavers we re-sweep joint sand afterward so nothing is left loose underfoot.

Do you clean the patio cover and pergola too?

Yes, and it makes a bigger difference than most people expect. Posts, beams, rafters, and the underside of the cover collect years of dust and cobwebs. Cleaning the floor alone leaves the overhead looking obviously untouched.

Can you get grease out around my built-in grill?

Yes. Grill spatter and food traffic leave a grease film that ordinary washing skips right over, so those areas get degreased and treated individually before the main pass. Heavily saturated grout may lighten rather than fully clear.

Will you move my patio furniture?

Yes, we move it, clean underneath, and put it back. If you also want the furniture itself hand-detailed, that is our patio furniture cleaning service and it is a common add-on to the same visit.
