Fence Cleaning in Phoenix & Scottsdale, AZ

Block walls hold dust and organic staining in every pore, wrought iron bleeds rust down onto whatever is below it, and vinyl and wood both damage under pressure that block would not even notice. We clean the full run at the pressure the material can take, treat rust bleed separately, and get both sides where access allows.

Your block wall frames every photo you take in your own yard

Block walls are the visual backdrop to a Valley backyard, and they are porous enough to hold dust in every pore. Add years of UV and painted block goes chalky and flat. It happens slowly enough that most homeowners stop registering it, until the wall is cleaned and the difference is obvious.

Wrought iron brings its own problem. It rusts at the welds and base plates, and every rain washes that rust down onto the block or concrete below in long orange streaks. Those streaks are a chemical stain, not dirt, so washing does nothing. They need an oxalic treatment to actually leave.

The trap on fencing is that one property often has three or four materials on the same run, and they tolerate wildly different pressure. Painted block takes a lot. Vinyl will crack and wood will fuzz and gouge at the same setting. We match pressure to each section, which is slower and the reason the result does not include damage.

What sets our fence cleaning apart

Every Fence Material, Handled Differently

Painted block, slump block, wrought iron, vinyl, and wood each get their own pressure and cleaner. Wood in particular will fuzz and gouge under the settings block needs, so it gets a soft-wash approach instead.

Rust Bleed from Iron Fencing

Wrought iron rusts at the welds and base plates, and the runoff stains the block wall or concrete underneath in long orange streaks. Those get an oxalic treatment, not just a rinse, so the stain actually leaves.

Dust Film & Chalky Oxidation

Years of desert dust and UV leave painted block and vinyl looking dull and chalky. Our wash clears the film and, where the paint is still sound, the deoxidizing treatment brings the original color back.

Landscaping & Gates Protected

Fence lines run right through your planting beds. We pre-wet and rinse landscaping, and work carefully around gate hardware, latches, and any low-voltage lighting mounted on the wall.

Fence Cleaning Questions

Can you remove the orange rust streaks on my block wall?

Yes, that is rust bleeding from wrought iron fencing or fixtures above, and it needs a chemical treatment rather than pressure. We treat and neutralize it. Worth knowing: unless the rusting metal is addressed, the streaks will slowly come back.

Will pressure washing damage my vinyl or wood fence?

It would at the settings block needs, which is why we do not use them. Vinyl and wood get a soft-wash approach at low pressure so the material is not cracked, fuzzed, or gouged. Only masonry gets high pressure.

How much does fence and wall cleaning cost?

Priced by linear foot and by material, with most residential runs landing between $200 and $500. Rust bleed treatment is priced separately since it is chemical work rather than washing. A free walkthrough gets you an exact number.

Do you clean both sides of the wall?

Where we have access, yes. Shared walls with a neighbor obviously depend on their permission, so we clean your side and let you sort out access if you want both done. We will mention it during the walkthrough.

Can you bring back my faded painted block?

Frequently. Chalky, washed-out painted block is usually oxidation on the surface, and the deoxidizing treatment removes it to expose the color underneath. If the paint is peeling or has lost adhesion, that needs paint rather than cleaning, and we will say so.
